Full-time student at Wayne State University, with a minor in Animation and Interactivity. Here are the artworks I’ve created in Time Studio class.

First assignment of the semester centered around appropriation utilizing videos ONLY from Detroit Historical Society. My vision was to show how beautiful Black Detroit has been and still is today. As a transplant in a city full of Blackness, I often hear born and raised Detroiters downplay the wonder that is their city. This video is for all the Detroit haters, who just hates to see a Black urban city thriving.

Assignment #2: Environment / Landscape. This assignment explores the reality of settling into a new place, and while it’s beautiful and nicer than my original home, I struggle figuring out if this new home is my home. This by far is the best thing I’ve created (and it was my first time color grading) which is an independent skill I’d like to perfect.
